. . . Work and time savings : The top loader station serves as a logistical hub, in-between station, buffer and as a link in the high power transport process „Kombiverkehr“ (combined transport). The workflow of the chaff-cutters is unbroken. The harvest vehicle in the field and the transport vehicle on the road are detected by means of an RFID reader, the amounts carried are automatically weighed, recorded and documented. Driving over a weigh bridge is no longer required. There is no need to record the individual vehicles and their loads manually. The station is mobile and can be up and running anywhere in five minuets.

. . . Work safety: The overhead transfer process only begins when the unloading station records and identifies the authorized vehicle by RFID. In this way faulty operations are avoided. Also automatic use of the unloading function is prevented.

. . . Economics: HGVs can transport goods on long routes faster and more economically than tractors. Tractors with goods trailers have their particular role to play in the fields. Apart from this roads are not soiled and so do not need cleaning, the agricultural vehicles leave the fields just as infrequently as the HGVs leave the roads.

. . . Efficiency of the loading: Weighing devices and sensors to identify the load height make sure that every HGV is loaded to its maximum capacity. The sensors determine the height of the goods pile and inform the driver whether he should move forwards or backwards.

. . . Energy savings: The generator only cuts in automatically when harvested goods or residual materials and an HGV are available for loading. Switching-off is also automatic at the end of loading. During the loading the speed of the electronic motors are regulated depending on the weight of the goods, in this way maximum power is achieved. With heavy goods for example, the reduced speed builds up the required torque.

Documentation : The weighing value of the calibrated scales, for farm vehicles bringing the harvest from the fields, the HGVs carrying it away by road, the humidity of the goods, date and exact time as well as GPS position, can all be stored away on standard USB memory sticks. . . Flexibility: The unloading station can be in use throughout the year for harvested produce from the fields and for the transfer of residual materials to agricultural and commercial businesses.
